Divided into fat belly droppers and commonly used droppers. It consists of a rubber nipple and a pointed glass tube.
It is used to aspirate or add a small number of reagents and absorb the supernatant to separate the precipitate.
When dripping, keep the dropper perpendicular to the top of the container, avoid tilting, avoid standing upside down, and do not extend into the container or touch the container wall. Except for absorbing the solution, the tip of the tube should not touch other utensils to avoid contamination by impurities. Don't do it for two uses.
The ordinary dropper needs to be cleaned when it is used up, but the special dropper cannot be cleaned and needs to be used for a special purpose. Just put it back into the original reagent bottle when it is used up.
When using, don't pinch it with your thumb and index finger, use your middle finger and ring finger.
1. When using the dropper, pinch the rubber nipple with your fingers to drive out the air in the dropper, then insert the dropper into the reagent bottle, release your finger, and the reagent will be sucked in.
2. After taking the liquid, the pipette dropper should keep the rubber head on top, do not lay it flat or upside down, to prevent the solution from flowing back and corroding the rubber head.
3. When dripping liquid, it should be suspended on the top of the beaker, do not touch the wall of the beaker, so as not to stain the dropper or cause reagent contamination.
4. Do not put the pipette dropper on the test bench or other places to avoid contaminating the dropper.
5. The used pipette dropper should be rinsed with clean water immediately for reuse.
6. It is strictly prohibited to use the uncleaned dropper to suck other reagents (do not rinse the dropper on the dropper bottle with water).
